The Philo Club is an affiliate organization to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was created in 1943. The name Philo, which means “friend” in Greek, was given to the organization in 1954. The Philos consists of women who do not have a four-year college degree, who share the sorority’s principles and are interested in helping Sigma Gamma Rho render service to humankind and improve the community.  The Philos have contributed countless hours of community service and thousands of dollars to aid Sigma Gamma Rho's aim to enhance the quality of life within every community.  If you are interested in becoming a Philo, please email sgrhomurfreesborotn@gmail.com.
